At the Sunrise Beach Police Department, we believe keeping our community safe is truly a team effort. Our officers are out every day, but it’s the eyes and ears of our neighbors that often make the biggest difference. Safety isn’t just about responding to emergencies, it’s about preventing them, and that starts with awareness and communication.
If you see something concerning, no matter how small it may seem, we encourage you to share it with us. What may look like “nothing big” to you could be the missing puzzle piece that helps prevent a crime, protect a neighbor, or solve an ongoing case. Even details that seem minor, like unusual activity in your neighborhood or a suspicious vehicle, can give our officers the information they need to act.
To make sharing easier, we’ve set up an Anonymous Tips Form. This tool allows you to pass along information in a way that feels safe and comfortable. You don’t have to provide your name if you’d rather not, but the more details you can include (dates, times, locations, descriptions of people, vehicles, or behaviors) the more useful that information becomes to our officers.
Every tip we receive is taken seriously and reviewed by the department. While we may not be able to provide updates on every tip due to ongoing investigations, please know your input plays a real and important role in keeping Sunrise Beach safe.
Together, as neighbors looking out for one another, we can continue building an even safer and stronger community that we’re all proud to call home. 💙
