
Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Village water and sewer system and maintains approximately 16 miles of City streets and roads. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of City-owned properties and buildings. The Village provides water and sewer service to approximately 385 customers; the system includes two drinking water wells and storage tanks, and two wastewater treatment plans. The Village contracts some water and wastewater services to Lake Ozark Environmental, and maintains relationships with a variety of suppliers and vendors. Public Works maintains a fleet of three trucks, one backhoe / loader and two tractors, and has two snowplows and spreaders.
