Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for operations, maintenance and overseeing: The water system; The central sewer system; Maintaining all property owned by the Village; Maintaining and de-icing the Village’s streets.

The Village of Sunrise Beach has a water system servicing all of the Highway 5 corridor and several subdivisions throughout the Village. Under certain circumstances, the water and sewer mains can be extended to other parts of the Village depending on the specific requirements of the development making the request. Continuing to upgrade and expand these systems is something the Board of Trustees is working on.
